Christmas Parade

Abbie's part of town has a Christmas parade on Saturday so we took the kids and had lunch. The kids had a tough time waiting a whole ten minutes for the parade to make it to where we sat. Oh my gosh, you would have thought it was ten hours!

Spending time with the Cousins

Ellie and Nate came over and we all had dinner. Mmmm, soup! They liked the grilled cheese too.

New Glasses

Jack needed to have his eyes checked so I took him a few weeks ago and found out he needs them. So today I got a call from the Optician saying his new glasses came in.

Happy Halloween

We had a good Halloween this year. Jack was Batman and Emma decided to be a doggie. We attended a new thing this year - "Trunk or Treat". You got to a designated spot in a parking lot, decorate your trunk of your car and hand out candy. Ours was in the pool parking lot a and there were probably 70 or so kids there.

After that I took the kids around the neighborhood for a few blocks so they could do the more traditional walk up to the door and knock. Emma was exhausted by 7 and Jack was ready to head back by 7:15, after only 30 minutes out. 

Had a great time the rest of the night, handing out candy to the other trick or treaters. 

Loosing Teeth

Jack lost his two front teeth within 24 hours of eachother. Seemed like it was taking forever but he finally worked them loose. He got $5 for each front tooth from the Tooth Fairy - who probably won't be as generous for the other teeth.

New Glasses?

Went to the optometrist to see about getting Jack glasses. He does need them so we tried on some frames. Will post when we decide which ones we like best.
