Marilyn (3rd)

I decided to do this version in brighter colors, a little more bubble gum than the dour chocolate version I did before. I may do another version just done in red (cherry).

I ran out of blueberry wrappers and had to go out a buy a few bags of Tootsie Pops so I could finish it. We went to K Mart first, but they only had one bag, so we went to Bloom and their bags didn't have blueberry in them, but on another aisle there was a special display of Summer candy and that did have some blueberry (whew!). This one wasn't as easy as I thought it was gonna be.

Elvis (2nd)

I redid Elvis because I wasn't all thrilled with the first one. This one is closer, but I may go back and redo a piece here or there. The shadow, particularly by his cheeks just aren't working for me. I also added a "halo" around him since the orange and blue didn't create enough contrast, so this one is a real departure.

Prints Now For Sale

I have begun to sell prints of most of the musician series paintings. The prints are printed on either museum quality acid-free glossy or acid-free matte stock with UV inks to prevent fading. Each print is signed by the artist. Contact me if you are interested in a print.

John Lennon (2nd)

I redid John Lennon because I didn't think the first one really did him justice. He was so iconic and died such a tragic death, I wanted to give it another try to see if I could do better and use a different color combination.
